Update Oct 13, 5:47pm We are raising funds to buy the Kids beds. Bunk beds cost $35 in Uganda! Would you like to provide one? Click on Chip In on the top right side of the blog to donate. Thanks. The orphans in India are in need of new clothes for Christmas. Feel Free to donate to both the orphans in Uganda and the Annamani Orphans in India. We've raised $30 far. For some reason it does not show up on Chip in. Maybe because some people click donate instead of Chip in. So that's $30 of around $550 that I'd to raise. Aug 30, 3:23pm This is Mary with her Grandfather Ojuuk. Her story is below! There are 19 kids who need a uniform. Here are some of their names and ages. If you want to give them a uniform Boys uniforms are $12 each, girls are $10. If you pay for a uniform for 1 of these kids listed below then you can also be their pen pal. They are the only kids without a pen pal. I have photos of these kids also and a group photo several posts back. Ronald age 13, Mary age 9 Tonny age 10, Maria age 11 Here is Mary's story if any of you would like to help her. You could also provide her with a mosquito for $3 or a mattress for $10 along with the uniform. She would really like a new friend. UPDATE 2:43pm IT COST $10 TO BUY A SCHOOL UNIFORM FOR A GIRL AND $12 TO BUY A UNIFORM FOR A BOY. THERE ARE 19 KIDS THAT NEED A UNIFORM OR THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND SCHOOL IF THEY DON'T HAVE ONE! WON'T YOU HELP THEM? CLICK ON THE YELLOW DONATE BUTTON ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BLOG! Enough money has been raised to cover the Water bill for the Home! Also below is a photo of the shirts that each child will receive. Through your donations each child will have a new shirt and they will all match. So I'm sure they are all happy to get something and no child will feel left out. THANKS!
