.................Orphanage almost out of FOOD!!!!!!

I heard today and they are almost out of food.
They need donations in order to have food within the next few days!
In Uganda corn meal costs about .55 for 2 pounds and beans are about 60 cents for
2 LBS. Will you consider donating a few dollars so the kids won't go hungry?
Thanks, and feel free to post about this on your blogs or facebooks.
The kids need all the help they can get. Look at their faces.
Do you want them to go HUNGRY?
Here is their website if you want to learn more about these kids and their charity!

  1. I'd love to help out - but I don't really know anything about who you are. Your 'about me' does't really say anything about who you are or how the funds are handled, so how can I know that my money is really being used properly and trust that if I donate it all goes where you post. If I had more information I'd be much more likely to help out.

They are a registered charity in Uganda

I receive photos of what the kids receive with the funds that are donated by others.
If you have anymore questions feel free
to ask but visit their site to learn all about who the kids are etc.

How family life is in Uganda and Join our FB!

April 3, 2019  2:27 pm To sponsor a child visit us at www.auntiesangels.com or https://www.facebook.com/groups/229498890486607 I wanted to share a bit about family dynamics in Uganda as well as some other things not known about their lifestyles. The only way to see or know these things is to visit and spend a good amount of time there. I'm still learning even after all these years. Many of our kids live without fathers but may have more than 1 person that they call "mom or dad" . In cultural traditions A child has a mom and any of her sisters are called "mom". The mom's brothers are usually called "Dad" as well. For their "Dad" any of his sisters are called Ssenga = Aunt. and any of his brothers are called "Jomba =Uncle. Now this mainly applies to deep villages since in Kampala and Jinja the 2 largest cities are filled with people who are educated and they know the difference between Aunt, Uncle , Cousin etc. Some people ...

We've raised $30 far. For some reason it does not show up on Chip in. Maybe because some people click donate instead of Chip in. So that's $30 of around $550 that I'd to raise. The kids need a few more mattresses and shoes etc. The also need more nutrious food. Sept 13, 1022pm These are some of the kids from the Home. Hope you enjoy the video. Chickens for

As of June 2010 the kids are no longer at the Orphanage, they all attend a School called New Victory! The orphanage closed due to lack of food and funds! Help the orphans get chickens! Each chicken is only $3 and they will provide eggs and meat. The kids only get chicken during the Holidays but if they raise their own they will have a lot more food! Right now the kids only eat beans and corn meal everyday if they can afford it. In the photo above the kids are holding the chickens they got for Christmas. That was the only time they had ever had chicken with their meal. Will you donate just $3 or any amount to give these kids chickens? Thanks!
