Helping the Children of Africa

If you or anyone you know would like to sponsor a child in Uganda, we provide monthly photos of kids with gifts and or when they get mail from sponsors. It’s only $15 a month to sponsor a child and so many still need help! They also write to their sponsor atleast 3 times a year. 3-3-15   11:20 a m  Now we raise funds for food to hand out in the 2 villages. Last Dec we helped 90 kids plus their parents & siblings with food.... Most  families cannot afford to buy any clothing for their children even if its at the cost of a dollar or less when they make only $2 a day. Let's make sure some of these clothes get in the hands of those who need them most.

Jan 14, 10:40 am    In Dec we provided 60+ kids with clothing and food in Mbiko.  We also gave food to 30 more needy families in the village of Kamuli where we also distributed multiple toothbrushes and pencils also.  Thanks to ALL DONORS who made this possible! See their happiness below .

Dec 28,   8:00 pm We still have around 15 kids needing a sponsor as we close out this year and look ahead to 2015 So can everyone take the time to review all the kids who are in need on our site here http://www.auntiesangels.com/beasponsor.htm especially those in highschool. Then post the link on any social media sites that U can! Here's hoping we reach out to more than 100 kids in 2015 !

9:43 am   Oct 30 , 2014 We have successfully raised enough for our Clothing bundle and bags of 6  food items for each village. Thanks Sponsors & Donors. Now the kids will have a good Christmas along with other family not yet helped by our program. Atleast 50 others will receive a food basket along with the along with nearly 50 other families who have kids sponsored by us. We will bring some joy to a very hurting land reaching several hundred kids and adults.                                       

Sept 4, 2014  10:53 am  We're looking to raise funds to provide food such as potatoes, cooking oil, rice , beans , sugar, maize   $550 to help 2-3 villages serving a total of 150 + people. No donation is too big or too small.  I'll deliver the food myself and take plenty of photos .  We have a thermometer on the side of the blog to keep track of how much we raise. Let's begin to give now.  I also plan to hand out plastic type sandals like crocs, jellies or flip flops to many kids in these villages especially the rural village of kamuli where we found plenty of kids with VERY WORN clothing.
