Update June 18, 5:17pm WE NOW ONLY NEED SCHOOL FEES FOR 7 KIDS! These 2 boys Avon and Julius are in despeate need for school fees. They are from the North in Uganda and recently joined the orphanage. If they can't go to school and get their daily lunch there then they may have to find another place to live. Look at their old, torn, dirty clothes. Won't you help them? We need to raise $198 to help 9 kids at the Home go to school. Those 9 have still not paid their school fee and can't attend. The $22 per child fee would cover their daily meal at school for the next 3 months. Can you donate any amount to help the kids? What can you get for $22? Certainly not 3 months worth of food! As of June 2010 the kids are no longer at the Orphanage, they all attend a School called New Victory! The orphanage closed due to lack of food and funds! Help the orphans get chickens! Each chicken is only $3 and they will provide eggs and meat. The kids only get chicken during the Holidays but if they raise their own they will have a lot more food! Right now the kids only eat beans and corn meal everyday if they can afford it. In the photo above the kids are holding the chickens they got for Christmas. That was the only time they had ever had chicken with their meal. Will you donate just $3 or any amount to give these kids chickens? Thanks!

NEW SHOES!!! March 17,2010 2:13pm Here's the kids with their new school shoes! Thanks to all who gave so the kids could have shoes! They still need help paying their rent and to buy chickens to raise. So if you can donate again it would be wonderful!!! You can see in the photos that your money is ALWAYS used exactly as specified!!! URGENT UPDATE 3-13-10 9:50 am The Orphanage is needing help paying their rent. They have to move to a new house since the one they are in now has been bought by somone and they are being forced to move within a week. All the kids are crying and worrying about where they will go since they don't have $100 (monthly) to rent a new house. Some of the kids wouldn't eat because they were too sad yesterday. The kids were happy to get Rice, and Chicken, something they can only have a few times a year. Meat is very costly and they usually just have porridge or beans. Thanks to those who donated for the food! This is what your money provided! They have to cook outside and when it rains the can't eat until it stops raining. So they need $150 to build a kitchen. Donate if you! They really need your Help! Some of the kids have had malaria, chicken pox an measles recently so they are Desperately in Need of people to donate! They have only a soccer ball to play with and some kids need shoes for school. They cost $15 a pair for good dress shoes. Any Amount Helps and 100% of your money goes to the kids to buy what they need!

Jan 14th 10:54 am A box of clothes from a generous donor arrived at Home today. The box contained 10 pairs of boys shorts, 4 girls shirts, and 2 packages of underwear & pencils. If you would like to mail a box of gifts to the kids post a comment here with your email address and we'll be sure to get back to you ASAP! We're still waiting for a few other packages to arrive. I'm sure the kids were happy and surprised to get their new items!!! When they receive their camera they will post photos of the kids with the items!
