Challenges our kids face

11-26-17

Our kids are doing ok in school but in everyday life they face so many obstacles.
Especially when kids are sick or have an injury . We have raised funds for a teen to get much needed surgery. So she can be able to walk without too much pain or issues with balance.

We have another child with CP who is doing well with leg braces, a wheelchair and therapy treatments.

We have several kids with seizure disorders who are on meds and do pretty well
but have issues off and on.

Then our kids who have HIV, they try hard in school but some are sent home often when they feel really weak. Poor diet will always be an issue there. One sweet boy was turned away from his in-laws home and refused food there also. They told him "Go away" you have diseases, and there is no food for you we didn't budget for it.  This is all very common. Extended family , in-laws and especially step mothers tend to be very brutal towards kids who are not their own.
They have trouble providing for the ones they gave birth too and don't  want to be burdened with any
other kids.

We hope our Christmas Angels program will bring great joy to these families who
need help surviving in a harsh environment. Share our story with friends. That will help a lot! Image may contain: one or more people and people standing

They still need help paying their rent and to buy chickens to raise. So if you can donate again it would be wonderful!!! You can see in the photos that your money is ALWAYS used exactly as specified!!! URGENT UPDATE 3-13-10 9:50 am The Orphanage is needing help paying their rent. They have to move to a new house since the one they are in now has been bought by somone and they are being forced to move within a week. All the kids are crying and worrying about where they will go since they don't have $100 (monthly) to rent a new house. Some of the kids wouldn't eat because they were too sad yesterday. Won't you donate and help the kids move to their new house? If they don't have the money by next week they will just be on the street with no place to go. They Need Your Help Now More than EVER! They are praying for somone to Help! Donate...

...................URGENT 8 kids can't go to school if they have no fees!

This is Urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The kids need fees by May 25th to go to school. 6 kids have fees already so that leaves 8 without fees. I soon hope to be selling Ugandan necklaces to benefit these kids also. Won't you consider buying an African craft or pay a child's school fees? It's only $15 a year! 8 kids will not attend school if they no fees and these kids all live together in the Orphanage, they are like brothers and sisters and if some kids attend school while the others can't it would sad. So consider making a donation for the kids even if it's only $1 or $5 they will be SO HAPPY! THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE DONATED SO FAR!!!
